Detectives in Blackpool have released the image of a man they want to speak to in relation to the robbery at the Royal Bank of Scotland in Talbot Square, Blackpool.
The incident happened on Friday when a security guard was attacked and robbed by a man with a handgun inside the bank during a delivery, escaping with a sum of cash.
The offender escaped on foot in the direction of The Strand and turned right.
He is described as being about 43 years of age, of medium to large build with greying hair.
He was dressed all in black with a dark padded jacket, dark jeans and trainers.
Detective Inspector Frank Walmsley said: “We are very keen to speak to this man and would urge anybody who may have seen him or know of his whereabouts to contact police immediately.
"It is thought that this man could potentially be violent and dangerous and it is important that if anybody does recognise him, he is not to be approached but they should contact police immediately.”
Anyone with information should contact the police on 01253 293933 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
