Nicole: It's good working with Hugh

Award-winning actress Nicole Kidman said kissing co-star Hugh Jackman was one good reason to work on the film Australia, which has its world premiere in Sydney.

The epic romance, set in World War II-era Australia, sees Kidman's prim British aristocrat character fall in love with the rugged local cattleman played by Jackman.

"Obviously we're in character when we kiss, but it was good to go to work," a laughing Kidman told reporters.

Jackman called the role the greatest he'd ever had, and Kidman also called it a "once in a lifetime" opportunity.

The movie opens internationally on November 26.
